Dr. Chitrakshi Tewari is an MD paediatrician, All India Rank 1 (AIIMS Delhi) and a Gold Medalist, offering online video consultations for children and new mothers anywhere in India. A one-time consultation is ₹2,000 and includes a written summary and 48 hours of WhatsApp follow-up. To book, message +91 87962 70360 on WhatsApp.
What an online paediatric consultation covers
Most everyday childhood health concerns can be assessed and managed well over video. During a consultation I take a full history, see your child on camera, review any reports or photos you share, and give you a clear plan, including a prescription where appropriate under India's telemedicine guidelines. I care for children from birth to 18, as well as expecting and new mothers.
Concerns I commonly help with online:
How your consultation works
- Message me on WhatsApp. Tell me a little about your child, their age and your main concern, and pick a time that suits you.
- Confirm your booking. Complete a secure online payment to reserve your slot.
- We meet by video. A focused, unhurried video call. Keep any medicines, reports or your child's vaccination record to hand.
- You get a written plan and follow-up. Afterwards you receive a written summary with clear next steps and resources, plus 48 hours of WhatsApp follow-up for anything that needs clarifying.
What's included, and what it costs
A one-time online consultation is ₹2,000, and includes:
If your family would benefit from ongoing support, the Child Wellness Plan adds fortnightly consultations, WhatsApp access between visits, and regular growth and milestone tracking. The Wellness 360 Plan goes further, combining my paediatric care with child and family psychiatry for complete mind-and-body support. You can compare all plans on the Consultations page, and you're welcome to upgrade from a one-time consult within seven days. Payment is made securely online. See a full breakdown on the consultation fees page.
When your child should be seen in person or urgently
Online care is safe and effective for most concerns, and I'll always tell you honestly when your child needs a hands-on examination or in-person tests. Some situations, however, need emergency care straight away.
- Is struggling to breathe, breathing very fast, or has blue-tinged lips
- Is very drowsy, floppy, or difficult to wake
- Is under 3 months old with a temperature of 100.4°F (38°C) or higher
- Has a fit or seizure, or a rash that doesn't fade when you press on it
- Is vomiting persistently, or shows signs of dehydration (very little urine, no tears, sunken eyes)
- Has severe or worsening pain, or a serious injury
When in doubt, it's always safest to have your child seen in person. Please go to your nearest emergency department or call local emergency services.
